1、改善动物体型:磷酸肌酸仅在肌肉、神经组织中大量存在，脂肪组织中含量甚微，故可以促使能量向肌肉组织中转移，对瘦肉型猪的体型改善尤为显著，背宽、臀部丰满结实。

2、促进畜禽鱼虾生长:胍基乙酸是肌酸的前体物，性能稳定，吸收率高，能促使能量更多的分配到肌肉组织的合成。畜禽的增重提高7%以上，鱼虾增长率提高8%。猪在50-100kg的阶段使用胍基乙酸，降低肉料比0.2，生长育肥提前7-10天出栏，每头猪节约饲料15kg以上。

3、产品稳定使用安全:胍基乙酸最终以肌氨酸酐形式被动物机体代谢出体外，机体内无残留，有效克服了瘦肉精等很多违禁药物的毒副作用，安全性好。
