咪康唑是人工合成的1-苯乙基咪唑衍生物，属于咪唑类广谱抗真菌药物，就是我们熟悉的常用于治疗皮肤癣的药物达克宁，通过抑制真菌细胞膜成份麦角固醇的生物合成，破坏细胞膜结构，使细胞膜的通透性增大，导致细胞内成份外泄并抑制葡萄糖的利用，阻止营养物摄取，最终使真菌细胞死亡，适用于治疗体癣、股癣、手癣、足癣、花斑癣以及真菌性甲沟炎和由酵母菌（如念珠菌等）和革兰氏阳性细菌引起的感染和继发染,对外耳炎、细菌性皮肤感染也有效。
咪康唑常见的不良反应和副作用包括：偶见过敏、水疱、烧灼感、充血、瘙痒或其他皮肤刺激症状。非常罕见血管神经性水肿、荨麻疹、湿疹、接触性皮炎、红斑、骨盆痛（痉挛）、刺激、分泌物和给药部位不适。
