性能与用途编辑
1. 用于食品工业。赖氨酸是蛋白质的重要组分之一，是人体不能自身合成但又十分需要的八种氨基酸之一，是一种优良的食品强化剂。因食物中缺乏赖氨酸，所以又称“第一必需氨基酸”。将赖氨酸添加到饮品、大米、面粉、罐头等食品中可以提高蛋白质的利用率，从而大大强化食品的营养，起到促进生长发育、增加食欲、减少疾病、增强体质的作用，用于罐头中有除臭保鲜的作用。
2. 用于医药工业。赖氨酸可用于配制复合氨基酸输液，它比水解蛋白输液效果好，副作用少。赖氨酸可与各种维生素、葡萄糖制成营养补剂，口服后易被胃肠吸收。赖氨酸还可改善某些药物的性能，提高药效。
