简介
N-甲酰吗啉（N-formylmorpholine,简称NFM）是一种重要的有机溶剂和精细化工原料。常温下为无色透明液体。具有酰胺的化学性质，其水溶液在酸或碱存在的条件下易水解成吗啉和甲酸，水溶液呈弱碱性。

N-甲酰吗啉不仅具有选择性好、热稳定性和化学稳定性好、无毒、无腐蚀性等优点，而且由于其结构的特殊性，能与脂肪族烃类、芳烃以及水等互溶，具有良好的溶解萃取性能，因此被广泛应用于天然气及天然气凝析油、汽油、合成气、烟道气的脱硫，合成纤维、有机合成等工艺中；
同时由于N-甲酰吗啉溶解芳烃后，能大大降低芳烃的挥发度，提高芳烃与非芳烃之间的分离系数，因此被广泛应用于芳烃（如苯、甲苯、二甲苯等）与石蜡烃、丁烯、甲乙酮抽提等工艺中，可使精苯纯度高达99.99%，甲苯纯度达 99.7%，二甲苯纯度达 99.0%，并且溶剂消耗少、不需添加 pH 调节剂，具有对设备无腐蚀、节能、环境污染小等突出的优点。
另外，N-甲酰吗啉可以在聚酯塑料的发泡工业中用作催化剂，在精细化工领域用作甲酰化试剂，在医药工业用作药物合成反应的溶剂，并且都具有特别优良的性能，也是合成药物中间体的重要原料。
