无色结晶或浅黄色液体。有葡萄样气味。长期露光变色。能随水蒸气挥发。易溶于乙醇和乙醚，乙醇溶液带有蓝色荧光，溶于多数不挥发油和丙二醇，略溶于矿物油，微溶于水，不溶于甘油。，沸点273℃，相对密度d2525 1.161～1.169，折射率n20D 1.582～1.584。闪点104℃。熔点24～25℃。
化学性质
低毒，半数致死量( 大鼠，经口)2910G/kG。有刺激性。
天然存在：存在于葡萄、草莓、红葡萄酒、白葡萄酒中。
感官特征：具有果香、花香、粉香、霉香、葡萄香。
作用与用途编辑
1、染料、医药、农药、香料的中间体。在染料方面，用于制造偶氮染料、蒽醌染料、靛族染料。例如分散黄GC、分散黄5G、分散橙GG、活性棕K-B3Y、中性蓝BNL。在医药方面，用于制造抗心律失常药常咯啉、维生素L，非甾体类抗炎镇痛药甲灭酸、炎痛静，非巴比妥类催眠药安眠酮，强安定药泰尔登。邻氨基苯甲酸作为化学试剂，可用于测定镉、钴、汞、镁、镍、铅、锌和铈等的络合试剂，与1-萘胺共用可测定亚硝酸盐。该品还用于其他有机合成。 [1]
